Short Description

Without a doubt, the most popular graffiti artist in the world is Banksy, real identity ... And if you had looked at what Banksy says about himself you would be able to ... The idea of , "Look, I do things without permission, I set out my work in public ... "Graffiti is one of the few tools you have if you have almost nothing. And even if you don’t come up with a picture to cure world poverty you can make someone smile while they’re having a piss.

”Banksy (Banging Your Head Against a Brick Wall)"

BanksyTrolleys - Unsigned POW edition 500 Banksy "Trolley Hunters", original silkscreen print. Produced in 2007 and pressed on heavy quality somerset art paper. This series is limited to 500 pieces. Blind stamped reference the publisher. Includes POW pest control certificate.

The Banksy print Trolleys (or Trolley Hunters) was originally released as part of the LA edition accompanying Banksy’s Barely Legal Show in 2006.   This first incarnation of Trolleys was unsigned, and numbered out of 500, but curiously enough only 100 unsigned prints were sold at the show.  There are a limited number of signed prints from the LA Edition in circulation

The LA edition of Trolleys differs slightly to the later UK release – most noteworthy being that the paper it was printed on was a cream colour, and a hunter has a different tool.   It was printed by Modern Multiples.

In late 2007, Trolleys saw a UK release at Pictures On Walls coming in three different forms – an edition of 750 signed colour prints, 500 unsigned white prints and 150 signed white prints.

The final edition of Trolleys (and by far the rarest) came at the Santa’s Ghetto show in Bethlehem in December 2007.   Only available to those who visited the temporary exhibition (buyers had a choice between Trolleys or Gold Flags), this was a signed edition of 28 prints printed on end paper.
