Short Description

Without a doubt, the most popular graffiti artist in the world is Banksy, real identity ... And if you had looked at what Banksy says about himself you would be able to ... The idea of , "Look, I do things without permission, I set out my work in public ... "Graffiti is one of the few tools you have if you have almost nothing. And even if you don’t come up with a picture to cure world poverty you can make someone smile while they’re having a piss.

”Banksy (Banging Your Head Against a Brick Wall)"

Banksy Street Art Specialists from 2007

Description

Pulp Fiction Bananas by Banksy appeared in London in April of 2007. The artwork was removed by Transport for London as it was deemed too violent. Banksy quickly returned, as did the art.

The ongoing depictions of graffiti art continue to appear throughout London, and authorities continue to remove them, only to find the art reappearing time and time again.

Banksy's graphic prints, informed by his street art origins, are rich in social critique and biting humor. In this screen-print after a large-scale stencil installed at Old Street station in London from 2002 to 2007, he depicts Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta in the 1994 film Pulp Fiction. Bananas replace the gangsters's guns in this ingenious take on an American classic.

Pulp Fiction fans will appreciate the irony of the scene as Travolta and Jackson threaten menacingly with their bananas instead of guns. The graffiti art is an interesting tribute to the outrageous movie, Pulp Fiction.
